How to care for your mouthpiece
With the right care, your mouthpiece stays reliable and sounds good for longer.

After playing
Carefully remove the reed and ligature. Remove moisture with a soft, suitable cloth. Avoid pressure on the delicate tip and facing.
Respect material guidance
Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Hot water, harsh cleaners and abrasive tools can damage materials. Keep cork as dry as possible and avoid unfamiliar chemicals.
Store safely
Let the mouthpiece dry before packing it away and keep it protected. Check reed and ligature regularly for damage. Consult a qualified specialist about persistent deposits or damage.
